Questions

The things people ask.

Deposits, travel, overtime, power and cancellations — answered here rather than after you have filled in a form.

Do you need a deposit?

Not on most bookings. We confirm the date within 24 hours and invoice for the show. A deposit is asked for only when the booking is unusual enough to warrant it, and you are told before you confirm anything, never afterwards.

How do I know if my date is free?

Look at the calendar on the front page. We book one show a night, so a date is either open or it is not — there is no waiting list and nothing to email about. Click an open day and it carries you into the booking form with the date already chosen.

What happens after I submit the booking form?

We take up to 24 hours to check the room, the power and the load-in against what you told us. If we don't have the date available, you pay nothing. If it all works, you get a confirmation with a link to your show details, which you can update right up to the day.

How long is a show?

4 hours, on every package, with load-in, setup and teardown included in that price rather than billed on top. After the booked end there is a 20-minute grace period, and past that it is billed by the hour.

What does overtime cost?

Mix Only is $100 an hour, Full Band is $200 an hour, Full Production is $200 an hour, charged after the 20-minute grace period and rounded up to the hour.

Do you travel outside Green Bay?

Yes. Travel is included within 20 miles of Green Bay. Beyond that there is a flat travel fee by ZIP code, shown on screen before you confirm. Past 100 miles usually means an overnight, which we price by hand rather than by formula.

What power does the venue need?

Mix Only needs nothing extra — we run on the house system. Full Band needs four dedicated 20A circuits, a 240V/50A four-prong receptacle, or a generator that can carry it. Full Production needs the 240V/50A or a real generator: four 20A circuits will not carry the back light. The booking form asks before it will hold a date.

How many channels can you take?

Full Band is up to 24 channels. Full Production is 24, with another 16 available on a second stagebox if the input list needs them — 40 in all. Mix Only runs on whatever console is already in the room, so the channel count is the house desk's, not ours. If you are close to the limit, send the input list with the booking and we will tell you rather than find out on the day.

We need you set up and sound checked hours before the music starts. Can you?

Yes — weddings do this most, where the ceremony and the meal come before the band. Tell us on the booking form when you need us ready and when the music actually starts. The first hour of waiting is free; past that it is $50 an hour, rounded up, and the form works it out and shows you the figure before you book. It applies on every package, Mix Only included.

What do you need to get the gear into the room?

Four things, and the booking form asks about all of them on Full Band and Full Production: power within 50 feet of where the band will be; somewhere flat close to the stage that a truck, or a truck and trailer, can actually get to; whether it is flat, a ramp or steps getting in; and doors at least 30 inches wide — 32 is comfortable. A "no" or a "not sure" does not lose you the date, it just sends the booking to us for a conversation instead of pricing itself. None of it is asked on Mix Only, where we bring nothing through the door.

Do you supply a stage?

No. Staging, power and backline are the venue's or the band's, on every package. We bring the PA, the floor monitors, the lighting and the engineer to run them.

Does Mix Only include in-ear monitors?

No. Mix Only means the room already has a PA and a console and we mix your show on it. On Full Band and Full Production, monitors means floor monitors — wedges on the deck.

Can I book at short notice?

The form holds dates 14 days out or more. Anything closer we can often still do — it just needs a conversation rather than a form, so pick the date anyway and it will route to us instead of pricing itself.

What if I have to cancel?

Cancel more than 30 days before the show and nothing is owed. Inside that window, 50% of the booked total is due — the date was held for you and turned others away. The full wording is in the terms.

How do I pay?

By card, or by ACH bank transfer, check or cash. The posted price is the card price; paying by bank transfer, check or cash takes a discount off the two larger packages, and both figures appear on the invoice.

I lost the link to my show details.

There is a page that resends it — 'Lost your show link?' at the bottom of every page. Put in the email you booked with and it emails the link again.

How do I reach a person?

(920) 680-9233, or dfulton@redarrowlive.com. There is no shopfront and no counter to walk up to — it is by appointment only.
